About the Program

Brand Modernization is a structured program that aligns how a company is perceived with who it has actually become. Most relationship-driven B2B companies have built strong reputations through years of reliable execution — but their brand hasn't kept pace. Logos feel dated. Websites fail to communicate value. Sales materials look inconsistent or disjointed. Brand Modernization addresses that disconnect systematically, ensuring every client-facing element reflects the quality and professionalism the company has already earned — and signals it to the right buyers before a conversation ever begins.

When to Recommend

Brand Modernization is recommended when Quick Start™ or a standalone Brand, Tech & Tools session reveals that a company's external presence is creating friction, eroding trust, or failing to reflect the quality of their actual work. Look for signals like:

  • Leadership acknowledges the brand feels outdated but hasn't prioritized it
  • The website is vague about who the company serves or what makes them different
  • Sales materials are inconsistent across the team
  • The company is pursuing premium relationships but doesn't yet look like a premium partner

If the brand is creating doubt before a conversation ever begins, it's time for Brand Modernization.

Role of the MiM™ Team

Brand Modernization is delivered jointly by the Architect and Experience Studio.

The Architect owns the program from start to finish — handling all scheduling, prep emails, follow-up communication, and opening each session before handing the room to Experience Studio.

Experience Studio drives the discovery conversation in Session 1 and leads all creative work, presentations, and asset delivery from there forward.

Program Outline

Brand Modernization is delivered through a series of five sessions with the client team, led jointly by the Architect and Experience Studio.

Each session builds on the previous one — moving from discovery and diagnosis through creative development, refinement, and final approval, before closing with a review of the brand applied across the company's key touchpoints.

By the end of the program, the company has a modernized visual identity and brand system that accurately reflects who they've become — and signals it to the right buyers before a conversation ever begins.

Experience Studio leads a deep dive into how leadership perceives their brand today — going further than what was covered in Brand, Tech & Tools. The Architect audits all client-facing materials in advance so Experience Studio walks in fully informed.

Brand Presentation

Experience Studio presents 3–4 distinct logo and brand concepts, each developed as a complete system and shown in real-world applications. The Architect opens the session and manages the room throughout.

Following approval, Experience Studio begins applying the new brand across the company's ecosystem. Once complete — typically two to three weeks — the Architect and Experience Studio reconvene with the client to review the updated materials and close out the program.
