Intro to MiM™ Toolkit

    Updated on December 12, 2025

Before facilitating this session, review the Measured in Millions™ Philosophy page. This ensures you understand the MiM™ mindset, narrative flow, and examples that anchor the teaching portion of this session.

The Intro to MiM™ session is the kickoff to the Quick Start™ program — a 60-minute teaching session designed to orient the client’s leadership team to the MiM™ philosophy and the purpose of the next six weeks.

    It’s not a workshop.

It’s the moment we align mindset, gain trust, and create shared language before any discovery begins.

By the end of this session, the team understands:

    • What Measured in Millions® is (a philosophy + operating system designed for relationship-driven B2B companies)
    • Why it exists
    • What makes it different
    • What Quick Start™ is and what the next six weeks will look like

This session sets the stage for everything that follows.

    Why It Matters

Executives join this call with different assumptions, expectations, and mental models about growth.

Your job is to unify that thinking.

When MiM™ engagements start with philosophical alignment, everything downstream works better: the workshops run faster, the insights are stronger, and the decisions are clearer.

    This session builds:

    • Trust — they understand who you are and why you’re here
    • Context — they know the “why” behind MiM™, not just the “what”
    • Buy-in — executives see themselves and their business reflected in the philosophy
    • Momentum — leading naturally into Workshop #1: Growth Snapshot

This is the foundation. Everything else stands on it.

    Timing & Participation

    Workshop: 0 (Kickoff)
    Duration: 60 minutes
    Led by: MiM™ Coach
Participants: CEO/President/Owner + full leadership team

This session only works when the full leadership team is present.

MiM™ is a decision-making system, and the mindset must be adopted at the top before it can flow through the workshops.

    The Coach leads the teaching.

The Architect participates and supports — but does not drive the conversation.

    Preparation

    1. Send Prep Emails

    You’ll send two emails:

    Email to the Leader

    From: MiM™ Coach
    To: Client Leader
    Cc: MiM™ Architect
Subject: Quick Note for Intro to MiM™ Session

    —————-

    Hi {{ contact.firstname }},

Looking forward to tomorrow’s Intro to Measured in Millions™ session. As we discussed in the Leader Brief, you’ll kick us off by introducing why your team is here and what you’re hoping this work unlocks — then hand things over to us.

If you’d like a few quick talking points to guide your intro, I’m happy to send them over.

No prep needed beyond that. We’ll wrap the call by scheduling your Quick Start™ workshops, so having calendars ready is the only ask.

    Talk soon,
    MiM™ Coach

    If they want talking points:

    • We’ve brought in an MiM™ provider to help us get clearer and more intentional about how we grow.
    • Their approach aligns with who we are: a company built on long-term, high-value relationships
    • Today is just an introduction — what MiM™ is and how the Quick Start™ program will work.
    • Over the next six weeks, they’ll help us understand where growth comes from today and what needs to evolve for tomorrow.
    • This is important work, and your participation matters.
    • With that, I’ll hand it over to the MiM™ team to kick us off.

    Email to the Team

    From: MiM™ Coach

    Cc: MiM™ Architect
Subject: Quick Note for Intro to MiM™ Session

    —————-

    Hi team,

Looking forward to our Intro to Measured in Millions® session tomorrow. We’ll use this call to introduce your team to the MiM™ ecosystem and walk through what to expect in your Quick Start™ program over the next six weeks.

No prep is required for this session — the only thing you’ll need is your calendars. We’ll use the last few minutes of the call to schedule your six workshop sessions with the full leadership team.

If you have any questions prior to our call, please let me know.

    Talk soon!

    Reminder: Calendar Invite

This should already be on the calendar at this point, but as a quick reference point, this should be your calendar invite.

*Client Name* // Intro to Measured in Millions®
Required: Client leader, Client team, MiM® Coach, MiM® Architect

    —————-

Meeting Room: *Zoom or Teams info*

Purpose: This session brings both teams together to kick off your Quick Start™. We’ll give a brief overview of how the program works, introduce the key MiM™ concepts you’ll see throughout the six weeks, and make sure everyone knows what to expect.

We’ll also lock in the schedule for all six workshops, so please have your calendars ready. A consistent weekly time works best.

Looking forward to meeting everyone and getting started.

    2. Review the Teach Deck

This session is a teaching performance — you need to be fluent, confident, and conversational.

Quick Start™ – Intro to MiM™ Teach Deck

    Teach

    Time: ~30 minutes
    Lead: MiM™ Coach

Use the presentation deck as your guide. The notes inside contain the full flow, pacing, transitions, and phrasing. Your job is to stay present, keep the energy steady, and anchor everything in relationships.

    1. Leader Welcome (Client-Led)

The CEO/President opens the meeting. Their job is to set intent and shortcut trust for the rest of the team by briefly sharing:

    • Why they brought you in as an MiM™ provider
    • Why this work matters now
    • What they hope it unlocks for the business

This framing matters — the team takes their cues from the leader.

    2. Coach Transition + Expectation Setting

Once the leader hands things over:

    • Thank the team
    • Set expectations for the session
    • Establish tone (open, collaborative, human)

Refer to the speaking notes in the deck for the suggested flow and transitions.

    3. Introductions (Both Sides)

    Keep this simple.

    • Keep intros extremely short — name, role.
    • Set the norm by modeling a fast intro yourself.
    • Don’t let anyone start telling their life story.
    • Move quickly so you can preserve time for the philosophy.

The goal is to humanize the room, not take up time.

Follow the pacing and cues in the deck notes.

    4. Teaching the MiM™ Philosophy & Quick Start

This is the heart of the session.

    Your facilitation goals:

    • Stay anchored to the notes in the deck. They contain the intended flow, story beats, transitions, and examples.
    • Slow the pace. Don’t rush the philosophy — let concepts land.
    • Make it real. Tie ideas back to lived business experience when the moment allows.
    • Use silence intentionally. Some of these ideas require a beat for the room to absorb.
    • Watch body language. This section often shifts the room — lean into curiosity when you sense engagement.
    • Keep it light and human. Let people share, but guide responses so it doesn’t turn into storytelling hour.

    Gather

    Time: ~10–15 minutes
    Lead: MiM™ Coach

    After the teaching portion:

    • Open Calendars: Mark down dates and times for workshops 1-6 with the full leadership team.
    • Confirm Attendance Requirements: Ensure all decision-makers commit to being present.
    • Capture Constraints & Notes: Vacations, plant shutdowns, trade shows, etc.

For detailed scheduling steps, see the What’s Next section.
