What is the First 180™?
The First 180™ is the first six-month sprint of a MiM™ engagement. It is not a fixed program — it is a container. The specific work inside it is built directly from the recommendations surfaced in Quick Start™, sequenced intentionally to create momentum and deliver results as quickly as possible.
Every First 180™ looks different because every client is different. A typical sprint might include a First Impressions Suite, Brand Modernization, a website refresh, and a relationship-facing program like a trade show or pilot outreach initiative. What stays consistent is the logic behind the sequencing — and the commitment to showing the client meaningful progress within six months.
Why It Matters
Six months is not a long time. But it is exactly long enough to either earn a client's confidence or lose it.
The First 180™ is the moment where MiM™ stops being a promise and starts being a proof. Clients came into Quick Start™ with a goal — a trade show coming up, a brand that feels dated, a sales process that isn't working, relationships that aren't growing. They shared their business openly, invested their time, and trusted the process. The First 180™ is where that trust gets validated.
If a client feels momentum — if they see their stated goal being addressed, if they feel the business moving — the engagement deepens. If they don't, the likelihood of continuing drops dramatically. There is no second chance to make the first six months matter.
The MiM™ Lens
Most vendors show up with a fixed scope. Here is what is included. Here is the timeline. Here is the deliverable. The engagement is designed around what the vendor offers, not around what the client needs most right now.
The First 180™ is built the other way around. The client's stated goal is the anchor. Every program, every initiative, every sequencing decision is evaluated against one question: does this move the client toward what they came here for? If it does, it belongs in the sprint. If it doesn't, it waits.
This is what separates a MiM™ engagement from a consulting project. It is not a fixed deliverable. It is a living, prioritized plan — built on clarity, sequenced for momentum, and designed to prove its value within six months.
The Coach's Role
The Coach's primary job in the First 180™ is sequencing. Not every recommendation from Quick Start™ can happen at once — and not every recommendation carries the same urgency. The Coach triages what goes into the sprint, what gets pushed, and in what order the work happens.
The most important sequencing decision is this: whatever the client came in wanting, they need to feel delivered on that first. If a client walked into Quick Start™ saying they had a trade show in four months, that trade show is the anchor of the First 180™. The brand work, the sales materials, the first impressions infrastructure — all of it gets sequenced in service of that goal.
The Coach does not impose a predetermined plan. The Coach builds the sprint around where the client is trying to go — and makes sure the business feels it moving in that direction before the six months are up.
This is what separates a MiM™ engagement from a consulting project. It is not a fixed deliverable. It is a living, prioritized plan — built on clarity, sequenced for momentum, and designed to prove its value within six months. When it works, the rhythm it establishes carries directly into Expansion & Optimization.
