If you haven’t already, review the Playbook & Plan Philosophy page before starting. It explains the mindset behind this workshop and how to think through the MiM™ lens when guiding your client.
Timing & Participation
Workshop: 6 of 6
Duration: 60 minutes
Led by: MiM™ Coach
Participants: CEO/President/Owner (Stage 1) + Full Leadership Team (Stage 2)
Playbook & Plan is a decision-point session and is structured in two stages.
Stage 1 is a leader-only preview, where the First 180™ plan and investment are reviewed with the CEO or primary decision-maker. This ensures strategic and financial alignment before bringing the broader team into the conversation.
Stage 2 includes the full leadership team. In this session, the sequenced priorities are presented as the defined path forward, reinforcing collective clarity and shared ownership of the next phase.
If the CEO chooses not to proceed with a continued engagement, Stage 2 still occurs. In this case, the session focuses on presenting the documented First 180™ priorities as the recommended path forward for internal execution. The structure remains the same; only the positioning shifts from implementation planning to strategic clarity.
Preparation
Preparation for Playbook & Plan centers on synthesizing six weeks of discovery into a clear, sequenced First 180™ plan and packaging it for delivery.
Throughout Quick Start™, the Coach and Architect should be capturing and refining potential recommendations in real time. Final preparation focuses on aligning priority order, sharpening rationale, and confirming sequencing logic before presenting the plan to the client.
3-4 Days Before Leader Preview
Led by: MiM™ Coach + MiM™ Architect
Time: 60–90 minutes
Step 1. Create the Recommendations
Owner: MiM™ Coach + MiM™ Architect
Time: 60–90 minutes
Timing: 3–4 days before the Leader Preview
Now is when we convert workshop insights into a prioritized set of standard-program recommendations, customized to the client, sequenced for momentum, all created with the help of our friendly robot, Victor.
Open the Victor project in Claude (under Shared with Me projects) and tell him:
"I need to create First 180™ recommendations."
Victor will guide you through the process, asking questions to surface the right recommendations based on what you've learned over the past five weeks.
If Victor doesn't ask about trade show opportunities, prompt him directly. Let him know you'd like to consider trade shows as a potential recommendation for your client and share the Comprehensive USA Trade Show List for reference.
Step 2. Review and Edit the Deck
Once Victor has built the deck, review it with your Architect. Work with Victor directly to make any edits before the Leader Preview.

Step 4. Send Prep Email to Team
Hi team,
Looking forward to our final Quick Start™ session, Playbook & Plan.
Ahead of our time together, please review your MiM™ Digital Playbook and note any major edits or questions. We’ll do a high-level walkthrough during the session, but won’t review each page line by line—so this is your opportunity to ensure it reflects your thinking accurately.
During the session, we’ll review any key revisions needed to the Playbook and present the prioritized First 180™ plan based on what we uncovered over the past six weeks.
If anything comes up before we meet, feel free to reach out.
Talk soon,

*Client Name* // Workshop 6: Playbook & Plan
Required: Client leader, client team, MiM™ Coach, MiM™ Architect
----------------Meeting Room: *Zoom or Teams info*
Purpose: This session brings everything together. We’ll walk through the first version of your Digital Playbook, highlight the key insights uncovered across the workshops, and review the First 180™ plan—the six-month roadmap designed to move your growth forward based on the MiM™ methodology.
You’ve now completed the preparation for the Playbook & Plan session. This step requires more coordination than the earlier workshops, but it’s also the most important moment of the Quick Start™ program.
The Leader Preview is where the client evaluates the First 180™ plan and decides whether to move forward with the next phase of work. This preparation helps you enter that conversation aligned, confident in the recommendations, and clear on why the sequence creates momentum for the client’s growth.
Teach
Time: ~45 minutes
Lead: MiM™ Coach + MiM™ Architect
The Playbook & Plan session is less about introducing a new concept and more about connecting the insights from the past six weeks into a clear path forward.
In the Leader Preview, the Coach and Architect walk through the key discoveries from each workshop and show how those insights led directly to the First 180™ recommendations. This conversation allows the CEO or primary decision-maker to evaluate the proposed plan and make a decision about moving forward before it is presented to the broader team.
In the Leadership Team session, the framing depends on the leader’s decision. If the CEO or primary decision-maker chooses to move forward, the session becomes an introduction to the First 180™ plan and how the next phase of work will unfold. If the leader decides not to proceed, the session still serves as the closing moment of Quick Start™. The Coach walks the team through the completed Digital Playbook and presents the First 180™ recommendations as the prioritized path forward for the business.
Gather
Time: ~15 minutes
Lead: MiM™ Coach + MiM™ Architect
The Gather portion of Playbook & Plan differs from earlier Quick Start™ workshops. At this stage, the goal is not to surface new information—it is to address questions and confirm understanding before moving forward.
In the Leader Preview, the Coach and Architect should create space for the CEO or primary decision-maker to ask questions about the First 180™ plan. These questions often center on the recommendations themselves, the sequencing of the work, the expected outcomes, the investment, and what the commitment would look like over the next six months. The goal of this conversation is clarity so the leader can confidently make a decision about the next phase.
In the Leadership Team session, the focus shifts slightly. Rather than evaluating the engagement itself, the conversation centers on the Digital Playbook and the recommendations being presented. The Coach should invite feedback on whether the Playbook accurately reflects the leadership team’s thinking and capture any material edits that should be made moving forward.
Immediate Follow-Up
Following each session, send a short follow-up email to the appropriate contacts based on the appropriate situation, ideally within a few hours.

Synthesize
Synthesis occurs only if the client chooses to move forward with the First 180™ engagement.
At this stage, the Coach translates the recommended programs and timeline into a high-level execution plan inside ClickUp. This includes creating the First 180™ initiative structure and entering the major programs, phases, and expected sequencing.
The goal is not to build every task in detail, but to establish the framework that will guide execution and coordination across the team.

Share
Once the First 180™ structure has been created, the Coach shares the high-level plan with the client.
This typically includes:
-
Sharing the confirmed First 180™ timeline or Gantt view so leadership can see how the work will unfold over the six-month period
-
Scheduling the First 180™ kickoff meeting with the leadership team
-
Confirming the start date for the first initiative
This step marks the transition from Quick Start™ into active execution of the growth plan.
What's Next
With the Playbook & Plan session complete, the Quick Start™ program comes to a close. At this point, the client has a documented Digital Playbook and a prioritized First 180™ plan designed to strengthen their growth system.
If the client chooses to move forward, the next step is activating that plan—beginning with the First 180™ kickoff and execution of the recommended programs.
If the client chooses not to continue, the work completed during Quick Start™ still provides leadership with a clear understanding of how their business grows today and the priorities that will create the most momentum moving forward.
Great work!
